Mini Drill Bits - Pin Vises - Brad Point Bits
Are the 1/16" and 1/8" bits you find at your local hardware store too big for some of your fretwork? Try our mini drill bits. We have them to fit all the popular blade sizes. These bits are all high speed steel. We have two different sets of these mini bits. We also sell the most popular sizes by the dozen, sorry no mixing of sizes. Below is a chart showing which bits will work with which blade. The larger the number the smaller the bit.
When using the chart, the bit that responses to each blade will fit it tight. If you need a little more room to work with choose the next larger bit. Also when drilling through thick woods you may need to step up a size in the bits. We stock a precision pin chuck that will fit in your drill press and then hold the mini bits. Most drill presses will not close tight enough to hold the smallest bits.

style pin vise is a precision hand drill that will hold all the mini drills. It
has two double ended collets to hold bits from .000" - .125" in
thickness. It has a 3/4" swivel head and is about 4" long.

Counter Sinks
These single flute counter sinks are machined from carbon steel and are available in 6 different sizes. All have a 90° angle on the point for sharp precise countersinking. The cutting edge is hardened and honed for sharpness. Single fluting gives the added advantage of less vibration and chatter resulting in a smoother cut. These work great in all types of wood or plastic. All have ¼" or less shanks.

Brad Point Bits
Brad point bits are engineered for all kinds of wood. The center point locks the bit into position so the hole is bored precisely where you put it - every time. Two outside spurs cut a perfect entry hole with no splintering or tear out and also insure a clean-sided, nearly flat bottomed hole.
We stock 2 different sets of the Brad Point Bits.
The #D1034 - 25 piece set with bits sizes 1/8" to 1/2" by 1/64" increments. In comes in a metal storage box. Bits larger than 23/64" have a 3/8" shank.
The #D1033 - 7 piece brad point bit set includes: 1/8", 3/16", 1/4", 5/16", 3/8", 7/16" and 1/2". These bits feature fully ground flutes that produce cleaner smoother holes.
